Power Dialer
Software that dials numbers from a list automatically — often several lines at once — connecting reps only to live answers.
A power dialer automates the mechanical part of cold calling: it pulls numbers from a list and dials them for the rep, skipping the manual entry between calls. Multi-line versions dial several numbers at once and connect the rep only when a human picks up, sharply raising the number of live conversations per hour.
Throughput is the appeal, but it raises the compliance stakes — autodialing falls squarely under TCPA rules, so consent, calling hours, and do-not-call scrubbing all have to be airtight. The dialer multiplies whatever your list quality and compliance posture already are, good or bad.
